Now this may not apply to you lovely ladies who live in the middle of nowhere, so please bear with us through this one. For those of you who live within 5 minutes of your daily errands…pay attention.
From now on, if you are taking a quick trip to the bank, pharmacy, coffee shop, or elsewhere in your town, walk there. We know this seems a bit tedious, however, you will save gas and stay in shape. As humans, we should be targeting 10,000 steps a day. So in addition to helping reduce your carbon footprint, you will be reducing your waistline as well!
As it gets cooler, don’t skip out on this green excercise. Instead, bundle up in your favorite scarf and jacket, step outside, and take a deep breath as you run your daily errands. Not only will you feel invigorated, but you are helping the world be a greener place. Oh, and don’t forget your reusable bag for the goodies you’ll pick up around town!
