How is buying in bulk being green?
Well, when you buy in bulk you cut down the amount of packaging for the products you buy.
For any product that you buy, there is an amount of packaging to insure protection until used, and cut down on transportation costs. If you were to buy many of the same product (in bulk) wrapped together instead of separately you are decreasing the production of wasted packaging and greenhouse gas emissions that are generated by transportation of these goods. Buying in bulk has other benefits as well…since it cuts down on packaging, it cuts down on costs. This means you pay less!
This philosophy can be applied to almost anything you buy, including toilet paper, food, laundry detergent, etc. So when you are out and about, remember to look for products that contain the most in one package Not only will you get more for your money, but you will be decreasing wasted packaging as well.

This is so true.I buy everything I can (that doesn’t have an expiration date) in bulk. You also make less trips to the store when you buy extra, so you save on gas and you save time!
